- So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. (2Corinthians 9:7)
If you really believe you are giving your offering to support a work that God is doing, then you should reflect of the story of the widow who gave two small copper coins into the treasury. If you do, you’ll understand that God is more interested in the quality of your offering than in the quantity of the offering … and that quality is determined, in large part, by your attitude and your motive. So give generously, as you are able … but give willingly.
