6 Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.”  7Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were  under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so.  8And God called the firmament Heaven.  So the evening and the morning were the second day.

9Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so.  10And God called the dry land  Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas.  And God saw that it was good.

11Then God said, “Let the earth  bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed,  and the fruit tree  that   yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so.  12And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind.  And God saw that it was good.  13So the evening and the morning were the third day.

20 Then God said, “Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens.”  21So God created great sea creatures  and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird  according to its kind.  And God saw that it was good.  22 And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.”   23So the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

Song:  ALL THINGS BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL

Song:  ALL THINGS BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL

    • Refrain:
      All things bright and beautiful,
      All creatures great and small,
      All things wise and wonderful:
The Lord God made them all.
  1. Each little flow’r that opens,
    Each little bird that sings,
    He made their glowing colors,
    He made their tiny wings.
  2. The purple-headed mountains,
    The river running by,
    The sunset and the morning
    That brightens up the sky.
  3. The cold wind in the winter,
    The pleasant summer sun,
The ripe fruits in the garden,
    He made them every one.
  4. The tall trees in the greenwood,
    The meadows where we play,
    The rushes by the water,
    To gather every day.
  5. He gave us eyes to see them,
And lips that we might tell
    How great is God Almighty,
Who has made all things well.
